Testimonials

«"I'm Fran, from Granada. My experience was unbeatable from beginning to end. Loles was always available, with an extraordinary willingness to help: she patiently answered every question and accompanied us throughout the entire process, before and after the puppy's arrival. Our Beagle arrived perfectly socialized; he adapted from day one and has bonded wonderfully with our 3 and 5-year-old children, playing with them with a gentleness and confidence that clearly shows they've been trained. The kennel's facilities are spectacular: clean, well-maintained, and designed for the dogs' well-being, which is reflected in their temperament and health. The love and professionalism are evident in every detail. A well-deserved five stars and highly recommended."»

FAQ

At Diana de la Jara, we nurture love stories between people and dogs: over 12 small and toy breeds raised with care, health checked, and a smooth transition to their new homes, with shipping throughout Spain. If you're thinking of 'buying' a puppy, we prefer to say foster or adopt responsibly: the result is the same, a lifelong companion.

Buying from a responsible breeder allows you to choose a very specific breed and temperament, with a verifiable health history, genetic testing, and planned early socialization between 3 and 12 weeks, which reduces hereditary risks and facilitates adaptation in families with children or in small apartments.
Even so, adoption is a profoundly ethical decision that saves lives and usually includes vaccinations, deworming, and sterilization at a lower cost; that's why at Diana de la Jara we prefer to talk about responsible fostering, even though we offer information for those looking for specific small breeds.

We offer a 15-day written viral guarantee and a 6-month genetic guarantee. We also provide personalized support before and after delivery to guide you through the puppy's adjustment period.

We deliver puppies with a veterinary check-up, up-to-date vaccination and deworming schedule, origin documentation and after-sales advice for the transition to their new home, in line with good responsible breeding practices.
In addition, by working with highly sought-after small breeds, we provide information on temperament and early socialization to minimize behavioral problems and promote a secure attachment from day one.

Yes, we carry out transfers throughout Spain with authorized carriers, prioritizing well-being, so that the arrival at the new home is comfortable and safe, without unnecessary stress.
We coordinate schedules, post-transfer care reminders, and a welcome kit with adaptation recommendations for the first 7 days, so that the puppy maintains stable routines and feeding.

For small breeds, we recommend specially formulated “small breed” kibble with high caloric density, high quality proteins, and a small kibble size that facilitates chewing and prevents choking, in addition to dividing meals into 3–4 times a day in the first few weeks.
As a base, look for formulas with DHA for cognitive development, chelated minerals for bone growth, and a gradual 5–7 day food transition to protect their microbiota and avoid digestive upsets.

Our preferred brand is Royal Canin. It's the one we use and highly recommend. When you buy in bulk, we can likely get you this food at the best price you'll find. Don't hesitate to ask us.

Puppies allow you to establish routines from the start, but require more socialization time and consistency; an adult dog usually has a more predictable temperament and requires fewer training sessions, so it can fit better into tight schedules.
In any case, we help you choose the ideal partner according to your energy, space and experience, so that living together is smooth and long-lasting.

Consider activity level, tolerance for solitude, coat care, and sensitivity to cold; small breeds vary greatly in energy and needs, so it's key to align expectations with their temperament.
Our team guides you with breed profiles and real family experiences, so you can choose with objective criteria and responsible love.
